The roads on Skye can get very busy, especially during peak hours in the Summer. Please take this into account when planning your trip to us and allow plenty of time!

Directions:

From Portree (allow 45 mins)

1. Follow road signs to Uig via A87/ Dunvegan Road for 15 miles.
2. Drive into Uig and turn right onto the A855, signposted for Staffin and Kilmuir.
3. Continue on the A855 for 4 miles until you reach Whitewave on the right. Take care not to turn off onto the Quiraing Road at the switchback at the top of the hill.
4. The road from Uig is single lane with passing places, so may be slow going.

From Staffin (allow 45 mins)

1. Drive North-west on the A855 for 12 miles. This route takes you around the North end of the Trotternish peninsula, and is generally much quicker than travelling the Quiraing Road across the middle. The road is at times single lane with passing places.
2. Pass through Flodigarry, Kilmaluag and Kilmuir.
3. Turn left into Whitewave shortly after passing the Linicro sign.
